Introducing a NEW brand from GIANTmicrobes - Fuzzy Fossils!

Triceratops is a real scene-stealer with its iconic horns and frills. The undying dino earned its handle from the "three-horned face" moniker, and terrorized the terrain with its size and strength back in the day (we're talking 65 million years ago). But it's a different story now, with T-Rex as the top dog!

Size: 6.5 x 6 x 5" plush

Veritable king of the dinosaurs, triceratops is famous for its impressive horns, frills, and spines. Up until the ultimate extinction of the dinosaurs, estimated to have happened around 65 million years ago, they ruled the marshes and forests of the Late Cretaceous period--which, unfortunately, included the almighty T-Rex! Paleontologists suspect the latter had something to do with triceratops' demise since T-Rex tooth marks have been found on triceratops fossils. Not to mention, triceratops was enormous--weighing over 20,000 pounds with a giant skull almost seven feet long, equaling one-third of its body length! Another species of ceratopsid even boasted an even larger skull--Titanoceratops. Clearly earning its title, "three horned face," triceratops had two horns above its brow and a smaller snout horn made of keratin (the same protein that forms our hair and nails)
