Celestial Buddies Two Little Stars Polaris Ab and B

We're a pair of tiny stars that revolve around the yellow supergiant Polaris! You can spot us in the constellation Ursa Minor (aka Little Bear or Little Dipper). Polaris, also known as the Pole Star or North Star, shines directly above Earth's North Pole. Our distance from Polaris is about 2 billion miles, which is similar to the gap between the Sun and Uranus. However, Polaris B orbits Polaris and Polaris Ab at a whopping 223 billion miles away!
