Leif the lion belongs to the cat family, but is significantly bigger than your average house cat. Females can weigh up to 300 pounds, while males can reach up to 400 pounds (wowzers!). These majestic creatures are often referred to as the "kings of the jungle" since they have no natural predators. They are highly social animals and live in prides. And don't be surprised if you hear their roar up to 5 miles away (now that's loud!)!
